Directions to the site:
- I-84 E of Portland toward Troutdale.
- Take Fairview exit at NE 181st ST. Go north (left) to Sandy
Blvd.
- Turn right (E) on Sandy.
- Go until it looks like you are about to run out of road back
to I-84.
- Turn left (N) on 223rd Ave. Go north to sign for "Blue Lake
Park".
- Go toward the park, but do not enter the park, do not pay
the entrance fee.
- The PASS soaring site is just beyond the park entrance, on
the right side.
- It is a little dirt road that is blocked with a cable chain
and lock.
- This gate will be open on big contest days.
- On other days, PASS members with keys can open the gate and
fly anytime they want.

Review of the site:
- This is our traditional site for thermal duration contests.
- Nice mowed grass strips for two or three winch lines.
- A bit of a walk to real bathrooms and running water.
- Well out of the way, with no real danger from spectators.
- A bit narrow and cramped in the launching/landing/parking
area.
- AMA insured site, PASS members with keys have access.
