Directions to the site:

I-5 south from Portland OR. Take Canby-Hubbard Exit just south of Wilsonville. Next left at traffic light near Aurora airport. Follow this winding road all the way into Canby. Left at the "T" in the road, where the sign directs you to the Canby Ferry. Go a couple miles and look for a sign, turn left into Mollala River State Park. N 45? 17' 45"N, W 122? 42' 05" (Map)
 

Review of the site:

Our favorite thermal duration site when we don't have to set up winches and retreivers. Used for our H/L and electric events, it is easy for everyone to get to, has close-in bathrooms and parking, and is a very pleasant and user-friendly place. Picnic benches, flush bathrooms, and running water are right next to the flying area. The grass upkeep is just so-so. AMA members only, and silent flying only (electric and sailplanes). Winch and highstarts OK, but a little narrow.
