Site 1:  South of Newburg,  2009 Feb. floater site

Site 2:  East of the town of St. Paul

From I5: Take Exit 278, Aurora/Donald and turn west. Follow the road (it has several names including Ehlen Rd and MacKay Rd) for 5.2 miles. Turn left on French Prairie Rd and follow it for 2.3 miles until you reach the stop sign. Turn right on St. Paul Hwy. Go .7 miles to the flying field (enter on gravel driveway next to the small Christmas tree farm). We are flying on the right side of the road behind a one-story house surrounded by trees and a large modern yellow barn.

From Newberg: Go south on hwy 99W until you see signs for 219 S to St. Paul. Turn left on 219. Follow hwy 219 for 7.6 miles until you reach St. Paul Hwy at the center of the town of St. Paul. Turn left and follow St. Paul Hwy for 1.2 miles to the flying field. We are flying on the left side of the road behind a one-story house surrounded by trees and a large modern yellow barn.

Review of the sites:

Nice big fields open to PASS members by special permission only.  Lots of thermal generators, easy landing, and winches can be set up in any direction the wind chooses to blow.
